![]() Not only was he a man, but the man he looked up to, the closest thing to Ging. Gon realizes that his weakness in his mind killed Kite, it enrages Gon that his weakness cost the man his life. IE: Hisoka beating Gon, Genthru manhandling Gon, him refusing to be weak to Razor, the list goes on. He finally leaves Gon with a hunter license, Gon stares at it, looking up to Kite, the man that found his father successfully, is close to Ging, and is a prime example of a hunter.Ģ: Gon, as you know throughout the series gets verry irritated with being weak. Kite realizing Gon is Ging's son, tells Gon about finding Ging and being a hunter, cementing Gon's desire to be a hunter. He's sort of like a father-figure, disciplining his son and teaching him a lesson. Kite reprimands Gon for being close to a baby fox bear, causing Kite to be forced to kill the adult fox bear due to their predatory nature. Then again, I haven't read the manga so these are just my thoughts upon what the anime brings us.ġ: In the manga, the first person we see Gon interact with is Kite. I believe the effect would've been the same. It didn't have to be Kaito, nor even Killua. But he only goes berserk once he sees what Kaito was turned into and realizes how much torture he was put through. He witnessed Kaito being slaughtered by Pitou for no reason at all, got infuriated at himself first upon realizing he was scared and powerless to protect a friend (notice how he gets quickly attached to just about anyone!) not only his but his father's. ![]() Can y'all explain this to me?įrom my perspective, Kaito was the closest he ever got to Ging, therefore he projected a fatherly figure over Kaito. After finishing the anime, I still don't understand why gon raged so hard over a guy he barely knew. ![]()
